About Us
At the heart of our practice is Joanne Aamodt, a fully qualified diagnostic speech pathologist with over 30 years of experience in assessing and supporting children with diverse communication needs. Joanne works closely with developmental paediatricians to deliver comprehensive diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ensuring every child receives a thorough and thoughtful evaluation.
We use the ADOS-2, the gold standard tool for autism diagnosis, as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Each assessment is tailored to the child’s unique profile, and additional evaluations—such as speech and language —are included as needed to build a complete picture of their strengths and challenges.
